Here’s this week’s data/event calendar, which you can also find here linked on our sidebar.
Locally, its a quiet week again, but on Friday we get May financial aggregate figures from the RBA, which gauges all private sector lending – which is effectively the momentum behind the economy.
Internationally, its a mix of manufacturing surveys, CPI and sentiment prints, with the usual weekly US jobless claims.

Wednesday: US consumer confidence, Richmond Fed Mfg survey, German CPI, US Durable goods orders (0.4% expected for May)
Thursday: Japan retail sales, German unemployment, Italian PPI and CPI, UK GDP, EMU Economic sentiment, US GDP, weekly jobless claims and Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index
Friday: US Kansas City Manufacturing Survey, Japan CPI/household spending, unemployment rate, industrial production, French GDP, German retail sales, EMU M3 money supply. US Chicago PMI, Consumer sentiment
