Hooray for Ashes. Dump Cummins captaincy

Loving the Ashes win. My observations at this point:

  • Bazball died after the second test and England won the third playing normal cricket. Aggressive batting in the fourth was appropriate to the weather.
  • There is no substitute for express pace! AKA Mark Wood.
  • There is no substitute for quality spin! AKA Nathan Lyon.
  • Pat Cummins is a brilliant player but his captaincy is awful. Field placements and bowling strategies are terrible. See Stokes in the second test and Crawley in the fourth. His interview after this game was delusional.

Use the dead rubber to drop Warner, blood Neeser and give Cummins the week off.

Make Steve Smith captain!
