Fake left panics as immigration destroys poor migrants

The outstanding useful idiot of the Australian press, The Woketardian, once again records the deleterious impacts of its own policy misadventures today:

In the mortgage stress belt of Sydney’s west, residents and businesses can no longer make payments to keep their properties.

Andre Lattouf bought his first home in the middle of last year, but after facing eight interest rate rises he is already looking to sell. “It’s choking us,” the father of three says. “It’s frustrating and sad. We spent so much time renovating this place and putting so much into it, but my mortgage repayments have almost doubled and it’s becoming a joke.”

…“The thing is, they will never stop Sydneysiders from spending. They want to stop us spending but the housing market is still on fire. People here will never stop.”

Quite right. Why wouldn’t they? With mass immigration running at insane levels, property is the only game in town. Driven by the very vertical market newspaper quoting Mr Lattouf:

Immigration – because there are many desperate to hate – must be treated with extreme care by politicians and journalists…The inherently racist parties will seek to use any discussion and any seeming evidence of the negative impact of migrants as fuel to burn their fires of hate.

But even The Woketardian can’t exist entirely within its mass immigration fantasy. The truth is now so obvious that the paper has run out of woke experts to reinforce its biases:

Median capital city rents increased by 5.8% in the quarter to reach $550, or “a staggering 17% compared to a year earlier”, as PropTrack put it.

Warren Hogan, an economist at Judo Bank who predicted Tuesday’s pause, reckons Australia’s rates remain “out of whack” with overseas counterparts. One reason is the surge of migration that will shoehorn in more than 700,000 people.

“It’s a running experiment to bring in a lot of people while you’re trying to slow the economy,” he says.

Hogan says the RBA will probably resume its rate rises at its 1 August meeting.

In short, not even The Woketardian can disguise its own useful idiocy of the property lobby any longer.

Is this enough to pivot the fake left back to reality? I doubt it. But there may be hope in the above story.

As well as the poor and working classes, migrant communities themselves are now being destroyed by out-of-control immigration.

Immigration is itself now the “hate”.
