Summary

Over the last several months, we and investors have heard generative AI upside narratives from almost every tech firm. In this note, we offer a different perspective – a view of AI trends from F500 companies and AI start-ups. While still netting out positive, this more balanced feedback cuts through the AI hype and hits on issues including slow initial enterprise adoption, the potential commoditization of AI models and the challenge tech firms might have in pricing for AI features.
