Time for an Ashes thread.
What a win! After Edgbaston 2005, Leeds 2019 and, more importantly, MCG 1982, we finally snatched a close one from the Poms.
My take on Bazball is that it is flat-track bullying. Inferior sides will be blown way by it but it hands good opposition an advantage in that it is predictable. If you are always outright aggressive then it loses its shock value and you can plan for it.
Still, it has set up the series as a cracker and for entertainment value, it’s a beauty.
