Victorian Parliament sick of Andrews Government corruption

I noted last week how Victoria’s Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission’s (IBAC) report on Operation Daintree concluded that Andrews Government staffers had acted against the public interest in awarding public contracts to the Health Workers Union prior to the 2018 election without a competitive tender process.

The Victorian Government was previously lambasted by IBAC’s corruption report on ‘Operation Watts’, as well as the independent report into the Hotel Quarantine scandal.

Like always, Teflon coated premier Daniel Andrews downplayed IBAC’s findings, describing it as an “educational report”, not a report delivered because wrongdoing was found”.
