Bought the blue polyester 8″8″ Barry Bennett board while waiting for the 8’6″ Sunova (epoxyed balsa) as my age catching up with me for short boards on small waves. Still OK on big waves though. Wow difference is mindblowing. Lucky I was given a discount for repairs to Bennett’s machines as at $1,600 retail can’t understand why anyone would buy the old fashion poly board when at about the same price the best in the world can be bought.

Skippy

Some talk about 4X4 Patrols a few weekends ago so though I’d pop on my youngest sons beastie … So that is a 4.2 D with a safety tune, 1000+nm billet flywheel and clutch, flexy suspension, air lockers front and back, quick pin release sway bars, and a bunch of other suspension/drivetrain upgrades, huge foot is attached to 6”3, 115kg, 2nd year diesel mechanic apprentice … oh and this thing is ridiculously fast off the line and through the gears … 800+nm at the rear wheels imo.
