Vladimir Putin was expected to give a defining speech today which has now been postponed. There is speculation that it could mean anything from general mobilisation to peace talks!

I’ll be honest, I have no idea what he is going to do next. Normally I would expect Moscow to double down, regroup and come again. But Russia is in an increasingly friendless corner, Moscow even more so with its own people, and the logistical challenges are large.
