NSW has recorded another 1,281 locally acquired COVID cases over the past 24 hours:

Five more people have died with COVID:
- A woman in her 50s
- A man in his 60s
- Two women in their 80s
- A man in his 90s.
There have been 131 COVID-19 related deaths in NSW since 16 June 2021.
There are currently 1,071 COVID-19 cases officially admitted to hospital, with 177 people in intensive care, 67 of whom require ventilation. However, the true number in hospital is much higher when “hospital in the home” cases are taken into account.
