There’s got to be more to it than the occasional blood clot. This is panic station stuff.

Although it’s not as bad as the Johnson and Johnson mob having to close down jab sites because of bad reactions. Let’s not get that one here.

        • Almost like a stitch up, to push people towards a mRNA vaccine….As my old man used to say, “”Son, in life you will meet many types, but beware of those that will hoodwink you into believing, what they are spruiking as the truth , when your gut tells you otherwise”….
Have used this yardstick all my life…I ask my nephew whats up with all the covid news, and he gives me a run down….I sift through it…and I have to ask , Why? Why put this AZ stuff down? Don’t all these vaccines have faults?
Just need to work out who they are trying to hoodwink, and why…

        • Johnson & Johnson uses the same technology as AstraZeneca, Wouldn’t be surprised if they find clots associated with that one too, once more vaccines are delivered

Had my AZ jab on April Fool’s day which seems quite prophetic now – can I give it back?

        • Sorry to hear that lad, guess you may have been hoodwinked, or if it turns out, you may have been saved, if the plan is to push the mRNA onto people…A true conumdrum…you may be cursed, or you may end up a lucky bugger

I’m confused, it’s under 50 at risk now, this is a joke, I ain’t getting any scummo jabs, only a psychopath like scummo could corrupt a pandemic vaccine

      • You’re forgetting that scummo took one for the country and queue jumped in for a pfizer shot. (I do wonder which one Jen got – I’m betting she also got the premium brand)

    • No election this year….
This is the worst possible outcome for Scummo politically. Oldies feeling shafted with a dodgy vaccine won’t help the government get re-elected.

just try and imagine the cognitave dissonance required to still tell your local friendly pollster that you think that Scotty from marketing is preferred prime minister / you plan to vote LNP

you’d basically borderline reusa at this point

Yet they keep winning somehow,,, just like house prices nothing logical in this land …

Reusa I’m organising a party on the swings at the park if you interested, I heard you like swinging parties

  3. Like the photo RF. It emphasises that Hunt is little man (in all respects) and who is the lap dog on the right?

Read Niki Savva’s excellent book “Plots and Prayers” on the Turnbull ousting – tells you all you need to know about Hunt. Dutton had two lead weights in his campaign saddlebags – his own and Hunt’s.

  4. And for us Gen Xers just over the 50 mark there’s no way in hell we’re gonna take AZ.
You can stick it up your a*# LNP!

    • Something along the lines of : Jen- Do you think the public believed you actually had that shot? Did it look real enough?
Scomo- Of course, they swallow everything…

The best part of that jab photo op was the little old dear he was having it with, inadvertently giving him the middle finger. Priceless.

Current AZ vaccine INEFFECTIVE against B1351 South African strain.

    Short version here:

Given the other strains share similar mutations with the B1351 strain, but have not yet been studied with reference to the AZ vaccine, it is possible the AZ vaccine is ineffective against ALL new strains. In any case the AZ vaccine offers practically no protection against the B1351 strain.

    How good is Scumo!

My Working Class, once life long Labor voting Father in law has be a partisan warrior for the LNP since Howard.
I often get in trouble with my wife for winding him up! (But He always winds me up!,…I often retort)
Ive never heard him say an unkind word about his team Capitan, ScoMo,…or any other in the LNP.
But this AZ vaccine fiasco has got him a little rattled (he’s got emphysema).
Of late ive noticed he’s not so quick to state that “Labor would have done no better” every time I make a criticism of the LNP or their current PM.
When I said to him recently that its interesting the PM got the pfizer job and not the shyte AZ one he immediately said that the PM should have gotten the same one as everyone else.
It was the first time I have ever heard him not agreeing with and not defending someone in, his team, the LNP.

Doesn’t thrombosis Kill more old people than young people I asked him?
Why are the Under 50s the only people being told NOT to get the jab?
Isn’t thrombosis more dangerous in the old.
I’ve noticed AZ is run by LNP donors and former Liberal Party officials I go on.
I can see he’s feeling betrayed
Just like the way Keating made him feel the same.

    • Sorry to hear about the emphysema, that sucks.

Hopefully he realizes very few generations get so many free kicks as his. Tell him to be a good boy and take the vaccine his esteemed leaders tell him to take. If nothing else, do it for house prices.
