Our question of the week: Our question of the week: What’s next for the reddit retail army?

  2. Silly me I thought this just showed how poorly some small hedgies managed risk and capital requirements, not that the BSD will make packet on the volatility no matter which way it swings …. exchange traders live for volatility … calm periods are like being trapped in the doldrums on a sail boat …

    • Ha ha… oh those lonely nights. Those calm lonely nights.

Has it moved yet? nope nope… hmm… What about now? nope nope… hmm lol.

    • Don’t you hate it when the market refuses to recognize what is as plain as the nose on your face.
You have your position established and capital tied up in a position that just keeps going sideways and boring you to tears. Some BSD manager is ripping you a new one for tying up so much capital in such an illiquid position, you know you’re going to make a fortune but the market trades sideways, absolutely nothing. Sure as you say F’it and close out your positions the market moves and validates exactly what you’d been saying for weeks.
Been their done that, got the stiches to prove it.
There’s a lot of wisdom in the old axiom
Trade the market you have rather than the market that you wish you had.

      • The thing is these sorts would be washed out sooner than later, this just provided that discovery.
