This cnvt is usually so aggressive, now he’s all like “I understand why people are so upset”.

FFS he is an unelected advisor.

This is an unelected official giving a press conference in the direct centre of UK governement.

A defacto pollie who just like pollies think their sh.t does not stink – they are above the great unwashed of us, because they are by definition, morally bankrupt?

  2. Get ready for a Scummo shit sandwich today.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison will use a National Press Club speech today to place the TAFE system and industrial relations at the heart of the Coalition’s recovery plans,

He will also propose a historic joint effort between the Commonwealth and states on job creation, while placing tax reform and deregulation on the agenda.

Some more money for ‘skills’ training (but not public TAFE ill bet) will be the sugar coating for an industrial relations/corporate tax cut/deregulation shit sandwich.

    • Of course. He said as much from almost his first press conference at the start of this.
Corporate tax cuts and more labour deregulation are all they have got.
That is more to the .001% and a bigger underclass.

    • The fake skills reform of lies will be used to boost immigration and reduce wages

Possibly permanent wage subsidy for taking on a skill-seeker

There will be more rorts but I am not corrupt enough to think of what they will be

I won’t be surprised if they announce there is now two streams of fake education immigration. The current one for worthless university degrees and a new one for ‘skilled’ labour via the TAFE system (what is left of it).

Yep – the shit sandwich will likely be WorkChoices 2.0 – the happy-clappy kind which will make John Howard’s version look like charity.
Then, off course, we have to have that corporate tax cut to look after all the big end of town mates (including on the ScoVID Commission) but which will do nothing to create jobs.

  3. I’ve been following Mike Wilson at Morgan Stanley who seems to be talking sense as opposed to all the billionaires who’s wealth can be put to a combination pure luck and being in the right time regarding the growth of hedge funds in the last third of of the 20th century and know nothing of zero interest rate environments. And opposed to the economists and fundamentalists, value investors, etc. who know nothing of reality.

    • Leaving Fu Manchu aside for a second, Chris Pyne is such an odious little worm…
