Global Macro / Markets / Investing:

  1. MB Fund Request: Can the MB Fund do a piece on the structure of the fund and why it is a superior option (if so) vis-a-vis Halifax Investment Services? With this in the news now, some will be pondering how to avoid this kind of situation themselves. It would be good to hear a ‘what went wrong at Halifax’ explanation and if MB has the edge then the why and how. You might even pick up a few shell shocked BBs with this new content, looking for investment options with additional safey via their search on the interwebs.

How does a cohort like the MSM walk back two+ years of “Russia Russia Russia” collusion regarding the Trump team?

Senate Intel Committee has found no collusion…….Republican led, and the kicker is that the Dems agree.

Note that it is MSNBC. Deep swamp protectors. The committee has found no collusion and yet Trump is still guilty of something they say……still trying to shape the narrative, and save some face. Fake news in scramble mode. How does OZ ABC handle this issue as they have loudly beaten the drum along side this mob?
The real games are soon to begin so grab a seat, sit back, and enjoy the show. Mueller probe next to shutdown.
The beers are in the esky, and there’s popcorn on the bench…….help yourselves…..

As things are starting to ramp up in the US re Trump…..lets take a stroll down memory lane.
We all know about HRC’s bootleg server(s) in her basement.
Do you remember about the classified materials it was said to store? Some were said to be above top secret…as in “special access programs” that HRC was not even authorised to hold or view.
Do you remember that someone had set up an email forwarding so any emails were pushed in real time to an foreign nation…and not russia? Some have said it was a hack….others have stated access was granted. ( pay for play…anyone? )
It appears that recipient has been China……and the emails are so sensitive that the even the Intelligence Community Inspector General did not have clearance to view them. Just WOW…

Might go some way to explain the anti-china attitude growing around the globe. HRC is in for a world of pain.

    • Some people have been caught in the Trump-Russia narrative and will never escape it’s clutches. They will still consider Trump guilty no matter what. Time to move on from them.

Here is the latest thoughts from Trump regarding all the investigations and the revealed corruption.
      Emphasis mine…..

POTUS: “This can never be allowed to happen again (in our Country or to another President).”
How do you deter & prevent this from happening again?
Simply by terminating employment of those responsible?
Simply by conducting a few ‘non-threatening’ investigations?
      Or by:
Prosecuting those responsible to the fullest extent of the law?
Setting up new checks & balances and oversight designed to increase transparency?
Provide OIG office(s) w/ funding inc (size) ++ authority?
Provide select committees w/ access and in-house viewing of non NAT SEC CLAS material?
Provide a check on Directors/Dep Directors/Asst Directors of all such ABC agencies?
Establish ‘financial checks/reviews’ of those in senior (critical) positions (audits) + direct family (close proximity)?
and Prosecution is the only way forward to save our Republic and safeguard such criminal and treasonous acts from occurring again.
While some want to quietly remove those responsible and go about our business (save face on the World Stage), those in control, understand, this band-aid will simply not work.
Nobody should be above the law (no matter how massive the spider-web is (entangled)).
      This will never happen again.
      from the Q board

So……just take that in for a minute.
Here we have notification that sometime in the future….maybe months, it may even take a year or two,……..there will be very high level people facing the death penalty….just as we said all along. It’s a terrible situation, but not doing anything about it is worse.
Some in the Aust Gov should be taking notice of the above………we have ex foreign ministers and prime ministers complicit in some of the above via clinton connections.

  5. From our local paper in St George

““We had finance approved late last year.

“We were working to get the builder to restart the site and they gave every indication that would occur in November-December.

“We were negotiating some of the documents to get them back on site and, for some reason, they wouldn’t sign the documents and restart the project.”

But are lining up a new builder…

  6. Townsville update How about this:
A DAM engineering expert has claimed the Ross River Dam would have prevented Townsville from flooding if its spillway gates had been operated professionally.
Townsville City Council owns the dam, however SunWater — a State Government-owned corporation — is contracted to operate it.
Yesterday, a SunWater spokeswoman told The Courier-Mail the dam was not declared as flood mitigation infrastructure and the organisation was “not required to provide flood-mitigation advice”.
This is despite numerous government departments claiming the dam was built in 1971 specifically for flood mitigation.
Meanwhile, until this claim of mismanagement is resolved, punters are not being paid their claims.
This could ripple back and forth for quite a while. Years probably.
