Toxic Turnbull is going to bury the Government

The story goes that Malcolm Turnbull turned down joining Labor because he was not offered a safe enough seat. One wonders, rather, if he did not hatch a plan with Labor greybeards to destroy the Liberal Party by joining then gutting it from the inside. From Domain just now:

The federal government’s efforts to craft a coherent energy and climate change policy was “bedevilled by what I would call ideology and ignorance” Malcolm Turnbull told a smart energy conference in Sydney on Tuesday morning.

Asked if people should vote for independents until the Liberal Party reforms on the issue Mr Turnbull said he had been a member of the party for many years and could rely on his support in future.
