Domain mocks Murdoch salaries but should it?

They are preposterous:

The Herald revealed on Wednesday that a staff member had, by accident, widely emailed sensitive personal details of pay and redundancy provisions of senior staff members, including the $357,000 salary of The Australian’s prominent economics columnist Judith Sloan.

For one article per day, pfft. But can Domain take the high road? The rumour mill has Sloan’s counterpart, Ross Gittins, on similar dough (I stress that this is rumour only) which makes sense given it is a market and he’s writes one per week!

For those that write about productivity regularly this is all a bit of a laugh.
