Politicised ABS spouts ‘Big Australia’ propaganda

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has joined the push for a ‘Big Australia’ of 40 million mid-century, publishing the following propaganda on its Facebook page:

Of course, there’s no mention of the fact that Australia is mostly desert:

Since when has it been the job of the ABS to promote current government’s policies?
