Australian analysts just love the Chinese anti-pollution drive. It’s going to deliver an endless boom for high grade iron ore in their eyes. So far they’ve been right.

But the next phase in China’s anti-pollution drive is not good for any grade of iron ore. That’s because it doesn’t use any of it, it uses steel scrap.
