One final point. It seems to me pretty odd that Malcolm Turnbull is allowed to donate so much to himself. Rather looks like buying the prime ministership. Not exactly setting the standard. Or, rather, setting it all to clearly of others to follow…

Ban it all and raise public funding for qualifying parties.
