Australian inflation comes in cool

The ABS has released Dec quarter CPI and it’s come in cool:

Headline and trimmed mean missed 10bps. Without taxes on fags it would have been a big miss. Given AUD so far in 2018, this is the likely the CPI top. There ain’t no inflation ‘ere.

AUD eased not whacked.
