Strongest hint yet Coalition will bribe FHBs in Budget

I wrote a few weeks back why I believed that the Turnbull Government would include some kind of first home buyer (FHB) bribe in May’s Budget, most likely in one of two forms:

  • Allowing FHBs to access their superannuation for purchasing a home; or
  • Making FHB owner-occupier mortgages tax deductible.
