Capex outlook firms from catastrophic to dire

Some good news here (or, at least, less dire) in today’s ABS capex numbers. The 3rd guess for total 2016/17 spending is -9% lower year on year but jumped 15% from the 2nd estimate:

Mining is still collapsing 24.2% but is 14.5% higher than the 2nd estimate for 2016-17:
