Coalition under pressure to unwind CGT discount

It’s only 10 days after the Federal Election and the Turnbull Government is already under pressure to adopt one half of Labor’s housing tax policy – cutting the capital gains tax (CGT) discount. From The AFR:

…a diverse range of voices including independent senator Nick Xenophon and the Property Council of Australia say CGT reform should be looked at.
