RP Data: “Weakest rental market conditions ever”

Following on from my earlier post on RP Data’s daily dwelling values index results for January 2016, Core Logic-RP Data has released its full results, which also cover the smaller capitals and regional areas (see next table).

As you can see above, the smaller capitals and the regions had a mixed month in January, with strong rises recorded in Hobart (+4.7%) and Canberra (+2.8%), but falls recorded in Darwin (-0.1%) and “rest-of-state” (-0.1%).
