RP Data: Home values rebound 0.8% in January

Core Logic-RP Data’s dwelling price results are in for January, with a 0.82% rise in values recorded over the month at the 5-city level, driven by a strong rise in Melbourne and a smaller increase in Sydney, more than offsetting smaller falls in the other major capitals (see next chart).

It was the first substantive rise in home values since September 2015 (see next chart).
