Rental growth is down, and staying down

While home prices nationally are at an all-time high, it’s proving a good time to be a tenant, with rental growth anaemic across the nation.

On Monday, Core-Logic RP Data reported that rental growth across Australia’s capital cities had plummeted to zero in the year to January – “the weakest rental markets conditions ever seen”.
