Desperate Domainfax digs up more buyers
From Domainfax:
McGrath luxury agent Michael Coombs is working through Christmas and into the new year to accommodate a trickle of expatriates, home for the holidays, and buying real estate mostly in Sydney and Melbourne.
“I have at least a dozen expatriate buyers coming through, either represented by buyer’s agents or are clients I know,” he said.
“Expats are definitely filling up the holiday gap.
According to agent Ray White’s Evan Williams, the bank director, purchased the first property at 9 Ormond Street in mid November without an inspection from Sydney-based German architect Chris Bosse for $1.7 million.
Mr Williams said he has received 25 per cent more inquiries this December than last year.
There will be more expats as the dollar sinks even if these are the stupid ones buying too early.
But we’re really scraping the bottom of the barrel now for Domainfax when a “dozen” realty inquiries is worthy of a headline article.
What’s next, red hot interest from other planets?
