Colin Barnett braces for “awful” Budget

WA Premier, Colin Barnett, has warned voters that the mid-financial year update, due for release in less than a fortnight, will be “horrible” and include a “screaming” budget deficit. From ABC News:

The Premier said the state’s ability to fund new capital works was also “zero”, as he indicated the December 21 mid-year review would not be pretty.
