Retail sales growth slowest in two years

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has released retail sales figures for the month of September, which registered a 0.4% seasonally-adjusted rise in sales over the month with annual sales clocking in at 3.7%, and decelerating quickly:

In trend terms, it was the slowest rate of annual retail sales growth since September 2013.
