Now that a rebound in American jobs growth has confirmed that the US economy’s summer slowdown was temporary and has more or less locked in a December Fed rate hike, the focus will turn to what it means for us.
Specifically, should Australian export businesses get out the cake and streamers for the party they’ll have when the US dollar takes off and the Aussie slumps deep into the 60s?
