Daily iron ore price update (Hello peak steel)

No prices today with CNY. But peak steel is here in hard numbers from the World Steel Association:

World crude steel production for the 65 countries reporting to the World Steel Association (worldsteel) was 133 million tonnes (Mt) in January 2015, a -2.9% decrease compared to January 2014.

China’s crude steel production for January 2015 was 65.5 Mt, a decrease of -4.7% compared to January 2014. Elsewhere in Asia, Japan produced 9.0 Mt of crude steel in January 2015, a decrease of -4.0% compared to January 2014.
