No price changes given the Chinese Golden Week holiday. To refresh my memory, here are the charts:

In summary, as predicted, it got worse while I was away! There’s no decent contango in futures and swaps, Dalian and rebar are sitting at record lows and spot has bounced a touch but is stuck below $80.

There is a little more to update today as well. Port Hedland shipments for September were out late Friday and showed a little slowing on the month:
