Unemployment expectations high on WA doom

Westpac has released its consumer expectations pack for August and unsurprisingly punters remain more concerned about unemployment than they do about inflation. Inflation expectations are fixed to the spot:

And although unemployment expectations didn’t rise further, they remained very elevated with a rising trend:
