More coal jobs go

Peabody Energy has cut another 170 Australian workers from its locally based coal operations after slashing 450 contractor jobs late in June amid poor market conditions.

Peabody runs both coking and thermal coal mines in QLD and NSW. It’s not clear where the jobs will go.
