Here they are, the poor sods we’re sending to their deaths in England:

Michael Clarke (C), Brad Haddin (VC), Jackson Bird, Ed Cowan, James Faulkner, Ryan Harris, Phil Hughes, Usman Khawaja, Nathan Lyon, James Pattinson, Chris Rogers, Peter Siddle, Mitchell Starc, Matthew Wade, David Warner, Shane Watson.

The promotion of Chris Rogers is a good move. He plays with softer hands than the string of all-rounders that disgraced us in India and that will serve him better in England. Matthew Wade is unlucky. He is better than Haddin these days and Haddin hasn’t played a test in eighteen months so he’s sure to be soft. Still, his wrists will also serve him well.

But it is still the worst team in living memory. England versus the weather for 5-nil!
