Trump wins the oil war

Since the war between the United States and Iran began on 28 February, U.S. President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that the war was over and that a peace deal with Iran was imminent.

While both sides now state that a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is increasingly close, it is merely an agreement that both sides will move towards negotiating a more lasting peace deal rather than a more concrete treaty.

On the ground, shots continue to be fired, and reports indicate that the two sides still have significant sticking points to resolve.
