Federal budget sends voters to One Nation

This week’s federal budget has landed like a lead balloon with voters, with Roy Morgan polling taken immediately after the budget showing One Nation jumping to 32% of the primary vote, its highest ever result.
By contrast, Labor’s primary vote dropped to 28.5%, one of its weakest results since the election, while the Coalition is becoming a minor party, capturing only 16.5% of the primary vote.
It is a historic result, with One Nation surpassing Labor on primary support for the first time in a major national poll.
