Former High Court Justice Virginia Bell has begun Monday’s hearing by outlining the objectives of the first hearings in her antisemitism royal commission, explicitly linking rampant antisemitism to conflict in the Middle East.
The two weeks of hearings from May in the Antisemitism and Social Cohesion Royal Commission from May 4 to 15 will focus on the first of four terms of reference: “tackling antisemitism”.
