A new Senate inquiry, led by Senator Fatima Payman, is investigating why many Australian university graduates are struggling to find work despite completing degrees.

The inquiry focuses on concerns that students are receiving lower‑quality education, including “recycled lectures,” outdated content, and insufficient preparation for real‑world employment.
