The living standards of Australians depend on our national productivity. That’s why we want to hear your ideas on practical ways we can make Australia more productive. Select the ‘Add your idea’ button to pitch your idea.

The ideas you pitch will be considered for further investigation as we develop reform recommendations. Your ideas can help shape the future of Australia.

We are looking for ideas on a range of topics:

  1. Creating a dynamic and resilient economy

  2. Building a more skilled and adaptable workforce

  3. Harnessing data and digital technology

  4. Delivering quality care more efficiently

  5. Investing in cheaper, cleaner energy and the net zero transformation

We welcome ideas that are relevant to one or more of these topics, or any other ideas you may have. Your pitch needs to be short and sharp (up to a few hundred words).

Here’s three ideas in 43 words that will give productivity a huge boost.

  • Slash immigration to 90k per annum to end crushloading and capital shallowing.
  • Apply domestic reservation to the East Coast gas cartel to fix all energy issues.
  • Sack Danielle Wood because she disagrees with both (based on her time at the ruinous Grattan Insitute).
