In this week’s podcast, Nucleus Wealth’s Chief Investment Officer, Damien Klassen and Head of Advice, Samuel Kerr take a hard look at the problems with Value investing and what investors should expect.

Value investing has had a really bad decade. Over the last 10 years, the MSCI World Value Index has done approximately 50% worse than the MSCI World Index. A decade is a long time to wait for things to get better in the investment world. Coincidentally Charlie Munger, who is Warren Buffet’s partner at Berkshire Hathaway, sadly passed away this week at age 99. That duo are the most famous value investors of all time. We discuss their approach, some of Charlie’s wisdom and their underperformance. Is value investing doing something wrong? Our answer is yes, and we explain why in the podcast.
