Aussie wage growth won’t force RBA to hike

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) released the wage price index for the September quarter which came in right on economists’ expectations.

Overall wages rose by 1.3% over the quarter and by 4.0% over the year in seasonally adjusted terms:

The quarterly rise in the private sector was 1.4% and the public sector rose 0.9%, seasonally adjusted.
