Albo trashed Voice. Nobody else

As a fake left witch hunt gets underway to find which ‘biggot’ is responsible for the failure of the Voice, supporters should simply look at Albo.

I voted “yes”. But I had to do so through a gauntlet of problems:

  • There was no bipartisanship.
  • There was no legislation.
  • Voice rhetoric lurched from being revolutionary to harmless.

Most importantly, the timing of the referendum was an outright disaster.

What pollie in his right mind schedules a minority reform that requires enormous support to get up in the middle of the worst collapse in broad living standards in modern history?

This was compounded by “Yes” support being most prominently prosecuted by the corporations doing the economic pillaging.

This is a recipe for resentment, not unity, which Albo delivered in a thumping defeat.
