Australia has no hope of meeting emissions targets

The Guardian’s Greg Jericho penned an article bemoaning Australia’s rising greenhouse gas emissions:

“In the 12 months to March, Australia’s greenhouse gas emissions were higher than they were at the end of last year, and even higher than they were at the end of 2021”, Jericho writes.

“Were I to graph it like I would the components of GDP, it would look like this”:
