The cognitive dissonance of Allegra Spender – Teal independent MP for the posh seat of Wentworth in Sydney – never ceases to amaze.

Over the past year, Spender has demanded a big lift in immigration into Australia, claim that “in Wentworth, migration is a priority” (see here and here).

A few weeks ago, Spender simultaneously bemoaned Australia’s rental crisis while backing the Albanese Government’s record immigration policy, claiming the two issues should somehow be considered separately:
