The AFR Magazine did a full court press demanding that policy makers deliver a Giant Australia:

The article features a conga-line of economists and commentators claiming that: 1) Australia is too small and needs to a much larger population; 2) that a strong immigration program is unambiguously good; and 3) smaller immigration is not an option.
Author Jacob Greber also claims angst over housing shortages risks “fracturing the fragile bigger-Australia consensuses”.
