The disintegration of the Australian political economy is complete. I can confidently declare that MB is the last grown-up left standing.
The Albanese Government is a debacle. Its core platform is to
- Use mass immigration to dehouse Australian youth, impoverish via a rental shock, crush wages and degrade public services.
- Intensify inflation via energy regulation cowardice and do very little on carbon mitigation.
- Grovel to China in the face of recent economic coercion shocks as everybody else derisks.
- Destroy Voice by using it as a cover for the above.
The LNP opposition is a corrupt, corporate-owned, social troglodyte.
State and local governments are equally bad as several decades of mass immigration bankrupts budgets, cancels major projects to metastasize the great crush loading of public services, and property developer corruption runs rampant.
The media is a kindergarten that unquestioningly reproduces the press releases of the above punctuated by half-arsed Seinfeldian observations signifying nothing.
Mastheads are fragmented into ideological vertical markets with matching political affiliations:
- The businessomics AFR is a rent-seeker paradise wearing a fig leaf of reform credentials in league with the LNP.
- The Australian is a socially backward conservative propaganda sheet for the LNP.
- The Guardian, Crikey and ABC are the Woke spearheads of younger generation’s economic suicide via social issues yoked to the Albo/Greens.
- Nine mastheads are the same property parasites they were as Fairfax and don’t care who gets hurt in the process.
If they bother, nobody can discuss important issues without fear of being labelled, cancelled or, most toxically of all, ignored by rival vertical political markets:
- Mass immigration is the everything issue for tumbling living standards.
- Property is an intergenerational atomic bomb that has irradiated everybody and everything.
- Productivity reform is dead.
- The Albanese Government is a radical and vestigial globalist caught out of time.
- The LNP is a pack of weirdos, carpet-baggers and religious nutters wearing nice suits.
- The Greens are an appallingly hypocritical anti-environmental movement that wants everybody to cut off their genitals.
- China will likely invade Taiwan as its economy collapses and zero preparation is being made.
- And climate change is human genocide.
The commons are gone. The conversation is wall-to-wall bullshit. National interest consensus is substituted with a babble of narcissistic denial.
