Chicken Chalmers: Do as I say, not do on economy

Treasurer Jim Chalmers has used a Group of 20 meeting in India to argue that G20 nations must think about the kind of economies they want to build for the future, rather than simply going back to the economies that they had prior to the COVID-19 pandemic:
“Now is the time to think about what kind of economies we want to build as we emerge from the softness and the weakness in GDP growth over the course of the next 12 months or so”, Chalmers said.
“We need to focus on the supply side. Obviously, making our supply chains more resilient is a huge part of that, but it’s not the only part of that”.
