Chicken Chalmers recycles gas cartel taxes for power bill relief

Gas cartel groveller, the AFR, reports:

Several large east coast gas producers look set to defy the Albanese government and will not submit gas supply commitments by Monday’s deadline as they wrangle with proposed price control rules that they regard as unworkable.

At least three big producers covered by the proposed mandatory Code of Conduct are not intending to make commitments to supply a certain volume of gas at a certain price by the May 8 date set by government, according to industry sources.
