Transurban holds NSW taxpayers to ransom

Back in 2019, ABC News reported that Sydney’s toll road network is the most expensive and extensive in the world.

The SMH also reported that tolls on some of Sydney’s roads are rising at triple the (then) rate of inflation.

Transurban is one of the world’s largest toll-road operators and operates all of Australia’s 21 toll roads, with the exception of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Tunnel and Melbourne’s EastLink motorway.
