The fall in both unemployment and underemployment were due to 57,000 new jobs created in the month with both full-time and part-time work increasing for the second straight month.

Full-time employment rose 41,000 to a new record high of 8,990,000 while part-time employment also increased, up 16,000 to 4,584,000.
